bpi has manufactured recycled refuse sacks for many years. However, the development of the new T10 refuse sack now offers Local Authorities the facility for 'closing the recycling loop' and therefore promoting environmental responsibility whilst maintaining performance.

The T10 is manufactured using recycled polythene of which 30% is genuine post-use material. T10s are printed using water based inks and manufactured to a recognised specification as set by West Yorkshire Materials Testing Service

The T10 was developed in conjunction with West Lancashire District Council. Following these trials the T10 performance specification was approved thus giving councils, for the first time, the opportunity to purchase a recycled refuse sack to a measurable standard.
